Sample homepage for a fictional double glazing retrofit business. The quote form asks for window count, current frames and the main goal, so the first call can be a real conversation.

The businesses we build for, and the jobs behind them

Glazing is not one trade. A glazier taking a call after a break-in, a fabricator quoting a builder's schedule and a retrofit specialist explaining condensation all need different pages.

Five moments where a window company site loses the job

These are the five we find on nearly every site we are asked to replace. Each one costs a measure before anyone reaches for the phone.

  1. On the site we are replacing

One "Windows" page carries the whole range

    What it costs you

Someone searching for acoustic glass reads two lines about noise near the bottom of a page about everything you sell, decides you might not do it, and goes back to the results.

  2. On the site we are replacing

The enquiry form takes a name and a note, nothing else

    What it costs you

You ring back at 6pm not knowing whether it is one cracked pane or nineteen windows across a double storey, so the call is twenty questions before you can book the measure.

  3. On the site we are replacing

The energy page says "energy efficient" and stops

    What it costs you

A builder chasing a 7 star design and a homeowner with a cold western room both want the figures for the exact frame and glass, and neither finds one.

  4. On the site we are replacing

Nobody can tell where you work

    What it costs you

A house two towns over assumes you will not travel, while a job four hours away books a measure you have to turn down once you see the address.

  5. On the site we are replacing

The gallery stopped the month you got busy

    What it costs you

The last photo is from two winters ago, half the range is missing, and the site makes a full order book look like a business winding down.

The same five, answered in the build

Nothing here is an extra. Each one is settled while the site is being built, from the content you send us.

  1. One "Windows" page carries the whole range

Each window style, door type and glass option gets its own page, so the search that brought them lands on the product itself.

  2. The enquiry form takes a name and a note, nothing else

A measure-and-quote form that asks suburb, job type, how many openings, rough sizes, current frames, the main goal and photos, so you can plan the measure before you ring.

  3. The energy page says "energy efficient" and stops

A spec block on every product page for the rating figures you supply, sitting beside the frame and glass combination they belong to.

  4. Nobody can tell where you work

A service areas page that matches your Google Business Profile, and a short page for each town you genuinely want more work in.

  5. The gallery stopped the month you got busy

Up to 5 content edits a month, so last week's install, a new door range and this season's prices go up without you opening a dashboard.

What that looks like as a set of pages

A homeowner searching for a stacker door and a builder checking frame materials should each land on a page about that, with a way to ask for a price. This is the shape most glazing sites start from; we fit it to your range during the build.

Windows

  • /windows/awning/
  • /windows/sliding/
  • /windows/double-hung/
  • /windows/casement/

One page per window style, with the frame and glass options you offer for it.

Frames

  • /frames/aluminium/
  • /frames/upvc/
  • /frames/timber/

Frame material pages for buyers who choose aluminium, uPVC or timber before anything else.

Doors

  • /doors/sliding/
  • /doors/stacker/
  • /doors/bifold/
  • /doors/hinged/

Door pages for the openings people renovate most: alfresco, living areas and entries.

Glass

  • /glass/double-glazing/
  • /glass/acoustic/
  • /glass/low-e/
  • /glass/laminated/

Glass pages that explain what each option is for in plain words: warmth, noise, glare, safety.

Repairs and retrofit

  • /repairs/broken-glass/
  • /retrofit/
  • /secondary-glazing/

For work on existing windows, with a photo upload so you can price it quickly.

Service areas

  • /areas/
  • /areas/<town>/

Where you work, with short local pages only for the places you really want jobs in.

Quotes and builders

  • /quote/
  • /builders/

A homeowner quote form, and a separate path for builders to send plans or a window schedule.

What changes once it is live

Plainly, with nothing promised that a website cannot deliver on its own.

  • A search for a product lands on that product, not on a homepage that mentions it once.
  • Quote requests arrive with a suburb, an opening count and photos, so the first call books a measure.
  • Builders find the rating figures, the supply options and the lead times without ringing the office.
  • The gallery and the price list match the business you are running this month.
  • Every month you can see what the site brought in, instead of guessing.

No position in Google, no traffic figure and no number of enquiries is promised anywhere on this site, because none of them can be honestly promised.

The measure-and-quote board

Before a homeowner will book a measure, the site has to answer a short list of questions. Everything else can wait for a quiet week after the install run. We fill this board in on the call, then build the left column first.

Live before the first measure

  • What you actually sell The window styles, door types, frames and glass a buyer is choosing between this week.
  • Where you will travel The suburbs and towns worth a measure, and the ones that are too far.
  • What the quote needs The seven or eight answers that turn an enquiry into a booked measure.
  • Proof you did the work Photos of finished installs, grouped so a buyer finds a home like theirs.
  • The figures buyers check Ratings, glass options and warranty wording you can stand behind.

Can wait until after the install run

  • Town pages beyond the first few Added once you see which areas are ringing, as monthly edits.
  • The builders and trade section Worth building properly after the install run, not rushed before it.
  • Before and after pairs They need a matching pair of photos, which takes a few jobs to collect.
  • A reviews section It waits until you have real reviews to point at. We never write them.
  • Seasonal pages Condensation in winter, heat in summer, added as the calls change.

The right column is built later as monthly edits, at no extra cost beyond the plan.

The site you have now, and the one we hand back

Six rows, taken from the sites we are usually asked to replace.

A window company website before and after the plan
What we look atThe site you have nowThe site we hand back
Product range One page listing everything you sell A page per window style, door type and glass option
Quote requests Name, email and a message box Suburb, job type, openings, sizes, frames and photos
Energy figures A sentence about being energy efficient A spec block per product for the figures you supply
Service areas A paragraph naming half the state An areas page that matches your Google profile
Photos Whatever was on a phone at launch Installs added through the month, sorted by product
Changes A login you have lost, or a quote per change Up to 5 edits a month, sent by email

Everything in the plan, and why a glazing business needs it

Four lines, all in the one fee. The list of what the fee does not cover is right beside it, not in a footnote.

  • Live within 14 days of your content

A launch date you control, not one that drifts through an install season.

  • Hosting, SSL certificate and security updates

No hosting bill, no expired certificate warning and no plugins to patch.

  • Up to 5 content edits a month

The site keeps pace with the range, the prices and the jobs you finish.

  • A monthly report of the enquiries received

You can check the site against your own quote book instead of guessing.

Not in the plan

  • Paid advertising, such as Google Ads, and the ad spend.
  • Logo or brand design.
  • Writing your content: you supply the words, photos and prices, and we lay them out.
  • Domain registration fees: the domain is registered in your business name and you pay the registrar.
  • New pages, new features or a redesign. We price those first, and nothing is charged without your word.

The price page sets out the term, the totals and the tax wording.

Quick to open, and set up to be found

Google uses the mobile version 1 of a site for indexing, so the phone version is the real version. None of this is a promise about rankings; it is how the pages are built.

Pages built to open on a phone in a driveway

Static pages, compressed images and almost no script, because your buyer is often standing at the window they want replaced.

One page per thing people search for

Product, glass type and area each get their own page, with the words your customers use rather than trade jargon alone.

Written to be understood, then indexed

Clear headings, plain descriptions and image alt text that says what the photo shows.

Structured data on the pages that need it

Your business details, the plan and the questions on your FAQ page are marked up for search engines and answer engines.

Energy figures where a buyer expects to find them

The Window Energy Rating Scheme rates whole-window performance 2 , not the glass on its own. Heating and cooling are rated separately, from 0 to 10 stars 2 , and a rating also carries the U value, SHGC, air infiltration and light transmittance 3 .

Your product pages hold the figures you supply for that exact frame and glass, beside the product they describe. We never write a rating, borrow one from a similar window or round one up.

From the call to a live site, and what you do at each stage

You send content and check the preview. Everything else is ours.

  1. Book a call Day one. Twenty minutes on what you sell, where you work and how you quote.
  2. Send your content Your pace. A checklist written for glazing: products, areas, photos, prices, domain.
  3. We build it Within 14 days of the last piece arriving. You do nothing at this stage.
  4. Review the preview A private link. Corrections now are part of the build, not an edit.
  5. Go live On your domain, in your business name. Billing starts from this day.
  6. Send edits Up to 5 a month, plus the report of what came in.

What the fee does not cover

  • Paid advertising, such as Google Ads, and the ad spend
  • Logo or brand design
  • Writing your content: you supply the words, photos and prices, and we lay them out
  • Domain registration fees: the domain is registered in your business name and you pay the registrar

We price anything larger than a content edit before we start it, and nothing is charged unless you agree to the price first.

On the call we go through your products, your service area and the way you quote, and sketch the page list your site would have. You keep the list either way.

Book a call

No client stories yet, so here is how we work instead

This studio is new. Rather than fill the page with quotes nobody said, here is what you can check for yourself before you book a call.

Who you deal with

The person on the call is the person who builds and maintains the site. There is no account manager between you and the work.

What goes on the site

Only what you give us: your products, your figures, your photos and your prices. Nothing is invented to fill a page.

What we never do

No written or borrowed reviews, no stock photos passed off as your installs, no suburb pages for places you do not work.

What sits here later

When there are window businesses running on this plan, and they agree to be named, their sites and their words will sit in this section. Until then it stays empty.

Questions owners ask first

What does the plan cost?

A$249 a month plus a one-off setup fee of A$499, GST may apply. There is one plan and one price, with no tiers, add-on packs or introductory rate that changes later. The first year comes to A$3,487 before any GST.

How long is the contract?

The minimum term is 12 months from the day your site goes live, not from the day you sign up. After that the plan runs month to month and either of us can end it with written notice before the next billing date.

Do you guarantee Google rankings or a number of enquiries?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. Rankings depend on your competitors, your Google Business Profile, your reviews and how long your business has been around, none of which a website controls on its own. What we control is the site: fast pages, a page for each product and area you want work in, and a quote form people finish. Google says there is no way to pay for a better local ranking.

How quickly will my site be live?

Within 14 days of receiving everything on the content checklist. The clock starts when the content arrives, not when you sign up, so the fastest launches come from businesses that send photos and product lists in the first week.

Can the site show WERS ratings for my windows?

Yes. Product pages can carry the rating details you supply for each frame and glass combination, such as star ratings, U-value and SHGC, with a note on where the figures come from. We only show figures you give us for the actual product, never a borrowed rating from a similar window.

Book the call and see your own page list

Book a 20-minute call. We look at how you quote and what you sell, and tell you plainly whether the plan suits your business.

The plan, in one line

A$249 a month, A$499 setup, GST may apply, 12-month minimum term.

No obligation on the call. If the plan isn't right for how you work, we say so.

We design and run websites for window, door and glazing businesses. We are not glaziers, window makers or energy assessors, and nothing we publish for you is our advice about a product, a rating or a job.
